ONS APPROACH TO OPEN DATA
The Office for National Statistics (ONS), as the UK’s largest producer of official statistics, continues to proactively support the open data agenda both by activities within ONS and within the wider GSS community. We are committed to releasing data in a way which will allow maximum re-use of information. We prepare and publish these data in a way which is consistent with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics and which does not compromise our legal obligation to protect the confidentiality of individuals.
